- We should be more concerned about Global Warming and Climate Change because Typhoons are getting much stronger and there are greater incidence of Flooding. take for example the recent Typhoon Ketsana which devastated some countries in South East Asia.

I have been interacting on some of the “other” blogs. Why do they always use derogatory adverbs and adjectives when discussing the people who question their positions? And why won’t they answer a few simple questions about those positions?
Such as, where is the scientific evidence that CO2 has any major effect on warming?
Or, when will clouds be incorporated into the warming models? Or the ocean currents?
Or an investigation into negative vs positive feedback?
I thin k the term “scam” pretty much covers it!!!

It’s a scam. Essentially the government wants to give money to farmers that want to plant trees on their land, instead of food crops, when the world has countries with food shortages and need it. This is part of what Joanne Nova talks about in her Skeptics Handbook, when she says that this farce diverts attention from issues that matter and can be fixed.

I believe this is what is known as the law of unintended consequences. And the government is a past master at that game. There is precious little evidence that when the government gets involved, things get better. And they want to control healthcare. They already have nominal control of banking, auto manufacturing and too much more.
When will Congress get a vertebral column and start putting the people first?
