I don't want to sound too blunt, but cap and trade is akin to standing up and grabbing your ankles, because you know where the general populace is going to take it.
What I truly cannot understand, it why cap and trade is still being discussed despite the fraud/corruption running rampant in europe. I honestly believe cap and trade is the new tax regime of the 21st century. It has nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with filling gov't coffers.

Maybe they are hoping to slip through that stupid idea,or that they really have a death wish in getting reelected?
In any case I have to agree that it does not address their belief that we are doomed to a very hot future.

Despite the red flags regarding europe's so called success with cap and trade, I cannot believe the US/Canada is forging ahead with that scam ... or I mean scheme
