People who are registering to join here,needs to create a password that is at least 8 characters long without using your user name in it.
Here is the setting I have set:

Is there a place where that can be added to the "Registration Information" for the board?
I know there is on other boards where the Admins can change this.
Otherwise, I'm sure that this Forum must be accessable to "Guests" else someone who isn't registered can't see this.

We are working on things making this board work better and answer some questions.Such as this child board for registration problems.
The guests are allowed to see the entire homepage and read any topics and posts.
I will go look at the registration area in the admin panel and see what I can do.

I do not think Steve wants an Adults section,visible or not.It strays way too far from the mission of the forum.I certainly will not make such a board for it.

Hello readers,
This thread is out of date,since it was during the time we were using Simple Machines Forum (SMF) software.An inferior software that requires an expert for fix problems.
Now we are using the vastly better myBB software,there are no current password problems.
As long as you use at least 6 characters for your password when you register to join it will work.The longer the number of password characters you use the more secure your password is.
