James Hansen 1986: Within 15 Years Temps Will be Hotter Than Past 100,000 Years.

January 6

Excerpt:

25 metre rises in sea level, tropical temperatures in England, and widespread crop failures are only some of the predictions from Dr James Hansen. Here’s a selection of his predictions from the archives.

This one from 1986 on temperature increase in America:

Hansen said the average U.S. temperature had risen from one to two degrees since 1958 and is predicted to increase an additional 3 or 4 degrees sometime between 2010 and 2020.

This source proves that James Hansen is not a credible scientist. He has been wrong so many times now.

Not only that his beliefs in the AGW hypothesis are not even minimally supported by the reality of his prediction failures. They make it clear that CO2 is NOT driving the temperature up.

Gosh with over 100 ppm increase in just 125 years. The AGW effect should be OBVIOUS.But it is not and that should be sufficient alone to show that all that supposed warming impact is not there.

It is time they take note of it and grow the hell up!

Dodgy

" James Hansen 1986: Within 15 Years Temps Will be Hotter Than Past 100,000 Years. "

So that is a prediction James Hansen made that,
before 2001 (2002 let us be generous) temperatures would be warmer than any time in the last 100,000 years (that's since 98,000 BC).

Err, did the 1930s beat or equal that ? or,
do we have to go back as far as the Roman period (1,500 years should do it..),
just before the time period his mates "Hockey Stick"
(Gavin Schmidt in 1998/9 - when it was obvious Jame's prediction was in "trouble")
supposedly covers (now proven to be falsely / fraudulently).
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed
(and hence clamorous to be led to safety)
by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

H. L. Mencken.

The hobgoblins have to be imaginary so that
"they" can offer their solutions, not THE solutions.

The 1930's was a decade of heat records, droughts and sandstorms.
