Englishman prayer
A Prayer for the New Year
O Lord, preserve us from all Carbon Crap, the absurd Carbon Footprints and the totally inane phrase Carbon Neutral. O Lord, preserve us from all the scare stories, which are created by those who have no trust in Thy Divine Providence. Preserve us O Lord, from politicians who in their monumental ignorance attempt to change the climate patterns. Preserve us from all the Global Warmers and other pseudo scientists who have deserted scientific methods. Preserve us from the windmills of shame, which are designed to make the poor poorer and to impoverish the world. Preserve us O Lord from the Alarmists and the Prophets of Doom, who seek to increase the burden of taxation while enriching themselves with Carbon Credits. And may the Seekers of Truth stand steadfast in Thy Cause, Amen.
