Physics World: Threats to Climate Scientists

Physics World has published the gibberish about intolerance and threats to climate scientists:

There are few comments yet, but this one is kind of telling:

"Here is an article about threats and intimidation against scientists for their research. What do we get in the blog? The first three comments are dismissing the threats and pointing at politics. For me this just illustrates the venom in those targeting legitimate climate researchers. The comments are validation of the article and point out the lack of tolerance of those with monetary or political motivation to attack the science of climate change."

What a pity this person hadn't actually read the first comments before spouting-off.

As usual a typical one-sided and biased agitprop. Physics World and the IOP should know better by now. They must stop undermining the credibility of real science. What was that cliché about a nose and face?

The first comment:

The very next person make an ignorant reply about Fred Singer:

But don't take my word for his lack of "prominence". Go to the Web of Science and compare his list of publications with those of any climate scientist mentioned in this article.

Oh the ignorance of Mr. Singers career is vivid.

Though I cannot agree with anonymous death threats coming from any side, I think it is worse when they come veiled from a public figure, with a name and a face, this time former senator Tim Wirth. From WUWT (via Plazamoyua)
