Climate Realists

September 26,2011

EXCERPT:

An independent climate science think tank produces evidence from a leading infrared thermometer manufacturer proving that climatologists were mistakenly taking incorrect readings of atmospheric temperatures. Latest findings are set to trigger a paradigm shift in climate science.

Researchers from Canada, USA, Mexico and Britain this week announce a startling discovery that destroys 20 years’ of thinking among government climatologists.

This means that Roy Spenser's backyard experiment is an utter failure.
It is our attitude toward free thought and free expression that will determine our fate. There must be no limit on the range of temperate discussion, no limits on thought. No subject must be taboo. No censor must preside at our assemblies.

Perhaps but the ball is still rolling.
“We do not believe any group of men adequate enough or wise enough to operate without scrutiny or without criticism. We know that the only way to avoid error is to detect it, that the only way to detect it is to be free to inquire. We know that in secrecy error undetected will flourish and subvert”.J Robert Oppenheimer.

Just read it. It does put Roy Spencer in a bad light.

"globules of rising hot air", very evocative! Smile

Environmentalism is based on lies and the lies reflect an agenda that regards humanity as the enemy of the Earth. - Alan Caruba

Yes it is still rolling. But surely a big failure should make them reconsider it.After all, once you are on the wrong science path.It never gets sorted satisfactorily.Recall Johannes Kepler's epicycles work.It never would work because it was always wrong.

He finally abandoned it and came up with something else that would work.Kepler's 3 laws of motion. He abandoned circles and went for ellipses.

Johannes Kepler: The
Laws of Planetary Motion

Quote:

Quote:It fell to Kepler to provide the final piece of the puzzle: after a long struggle, in which he tried mightily to avoid his eventual conclusion, Kepler was forced finally to the realization that the orbits of the planets were not the circles demanded by Aristotle and assumed implicitly by Copernicus, but were instead the "flattened circles" that geometers call ellipses (See adjacent figure; the planetary orbits are only slightly elliptical and are not as flattened as in this example.)
It is our attitude toward free thought and free expression that will determine our fate. There must be no limit on the range of temperate discussion, no limits on thought. No subject must be taboo. No censor must preside at our assemblies.
