New paper shows water vapor feedback is negative, not positive as claimed by IPCC
The Hockey Schtick

September 14,2011

EXCERPT:

A paper published today in the journal Environmental Research Letters shows that water vapor feedback to the climate system is negative (causes cooling due to increased cloud formation) rather than positive as claimed by the IPCC and fellow alarmists. Warmists claim a doubling of CO2 levels could result in a mere 1C global temperature change, with positive water vapor feedback supposedly causing much more temperature increase. However, this new paper (and others) finds that feedback from the water cycle is instead negative and would lead to offsetting global cooling.

That means back to the drawing board for the Hockey Team. All their GCMs are incorrect as are all the projections. Which also means that all the global warming/climate change policies are based on flawed reasoning.

Gosh, who'da thunk it! Rolleyes

CO2 comes from coal, coal comes from fossilised trees, fossilised trees come from living trees, living trees growth comes from CO2 therefore coal is carbon neutral. ...from here

Which could be phrased as earth's surface is a solar and geothermal powered refrigerator.

Yes / No?

I have not read the paper yet, but does it mention the cold brought down within the climate system by precipitation?

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed
(and hence clamorous to be led to safety)
by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

H. L. Mencken.

The hobgoblins have to be imaginary so that
"they" can offer their solutions, not THE solutions.
