I have been reading John Kehr's book.

The Inconvenient Skeptic

I have been familiar with many of the details he wrote in the first 15-20% of the book,I have read.But never see the PICTURE he has woven with,from the details.In that way.

He explains clearly that the changing Geography and Ocean currents are major cause's of a shifting climate from the warm climate to the one we now face today.A cool climate.

I bought it at Amazon.I am now reading it in the Kindle CLOUD READER library.

It is worth reading and will help you see why educating yourself on the past climate of at least the last 135,000 years.Will show why CO2 CAN NOT be a climate driver.

Eventually I will post an honest review of his book at Amazon book reviews.

I have a kindle copy on my laptop. An excellent book for the interested layman. I found the climate history very informative. An easy read with supporting citations.

Hello readers.

I am still reading his e-book.

Now into the part about how minimal CO2 as a "greenhouse" gas really is.He shows the math on it.Showing that a doubling of CO2 in the atmosphere would add a pittance to the postulated energy effect 3.3 W/m2.

Yet some think this increase will create a run a way warming trend.

He also shows how "they" misrepresented the global energy budget by using radiative flux instead of energy transfer.

What I find fascinating is that during the nearly 2 million years of the 41,000 year glacial cycle.The temperature trend dropped over the time span.To the point that it shifted from from the 41,000 cycle to the 100,000 year cycle.Where the temperature range becomes more stable.

Could it be that the gradual dropping of the temperature for nearly 2 million years forced the change?

Ah, so. Okay, try Chapter 11 The Earth's Energy Balance Scientific Content and scroll to to Illustration 121 which provided my quote. That was the point where the penny dropped for me.

Still reading. Much to follow up. I am hoping to find stuff similar to Joe Postma's wide band absorbance chart you posted as I feel DAYLIGHT ABSORBANCE by so called GHGs far exceeds night time back radiation which makes a mockery of CAGW claims.
