March 9,2012 EXCERPT: We have been bombarded for years with graphs like the one below, presented as evidence of Arctic doom. The graphs conveniently start in 1979, which was the peak year of the last century. Good link! I have bookmarked it, makes sense that Arctic ice would be on the increase to the early 70's as that co-incided with the ice age scare at the time and since the late 70's has decreased as the warming trend started.
Highlights the dangers of taking a limited data set and extrapolating! |

I was suspicious that they were making broad comments over a scanty database range.
