Is water vapour a positive or negative feedback? - THE definitive answer.
Hello All,
THANK YOU to Alan Siddons for linking to this BRILLIANT video by Carl Brehmer. Have you ever got a bit confused over positive and negative feedback? Have you ever not been sure if water vapour is a positive or negative feedback? Well, be confused no longer, and KNOW the answer, AND that you are right to think so. Clear, simple, undeniable. Take a well deserved bow Carl Brehmer. There is a longer blog post and discussion at the Hockey Schtick blog as well. A simple disproof of the runaway greenhouse theory & basis of climate alarm The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H. L. Mencken. The hobgoblins have to be imaginary so that "they" can offer their solutions, not THE solutions. |

RE: Is water vapour a positive or negative feedback? - THE definitive answer.
As the greenhouse effect from back radiation does not exist, then any "feedbacks" on this imaginary mechanism are meaningless.
And besides which, water vapour makes clouds, which as we know, low level clouds cool the climate by reflecting the sun's radiation back to space. |
