Alan Carlin - EPA update.
Hi All,
Apologies first, in that I should of found the original thread this subject was raised in. But it escapes me at present unfortunately. An update from Alan Carlin on global warming and the EPA August 15, Environmental Policy Examiner. by Thomas Fuller Earlier the subject received a good deal of coverage at Anthony Watts blog, WUWT, as a joint story with the San Francisco Examiner Environmental Policy blogger Thomas Fuller. http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/06/25/so...anagement/ and, http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/06/25/on...ed-by-epa/ and, http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/06/27/re...al-report/ The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H. L. Mencken. The hobgoblins have to be imaginary so that "they" can offer their solutions, not THE solutions. |

Re: Alan Carlin - EPA update.
This episode is being exploited by the alarmists. Check out this video by Peter Sinclair:

Peter Sinclair: Is :
About Me: Greenman Studio LLC is a graphic design and animation studio located in Midland, MI. Owner Peter Sinclair is a longtime advocate of environmental awareness and energy alternatives. An award winning graphic artist, illustrator, and animator, Mr. Sinclair runs Greenman Studio from his home in Midland, MI. Mr. Sinclairs cartoons and illustrations have appeared in newspapers around the world, and his work has been profiled in numerous publications, including the New York Times, The Utne Reader, and HaAretz of Jerusalem. 30 years of writing and activism in the areas of energy and environment, including extended study in Nashville with Al Gore and the worlds leading climate experts, in addition to skillful creation of audio visual presentations, have made Mr. Sinclairs presentation on Climate change and alternative energy one which has been called a must see! From: http://www.youtube.com/user/greenman3610 This is in his own words and I do not know him. However in his own words he claims to be supported by an alarmist foundation and a public relations pawn in the game being played. I think he has others providing the talking points and links. |

Re: Alan Carlin - EPA update.
Q_C's link at least shows that the debate is clearly not over.
I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant! |

Re: Alan Carlin - EPA update.
There is one side that wants to debate the issues and the other side wants to disqualify those that want to debate as not being qualified even though the qualifications for the sceptics are better than the advocates.

Re: Alan Carlin - EPA update.
It seems that most sceptics are only trying to get people to think for themselvs by pointing out errors in the fabric / foundation that supports AGW /ACCC (Anthropogenic Catastrophic Climate Change).
I just got away from JoNova's blog answering Robin, who is being torn apart by a few scientists in the thread. It seems that he is so deep into the AGW religion, that he is incapable of seeing how dumb his replies have been. The scientists are now laughing at him as they post far better counterpoints than Robin's. My reply, not yet posted by the moderator exposed his hostility towards the many publishing science centers. It is our attitude toward free thought and free expression that will determine our fate. Re: Alan Carlin - EPA update.
I don't know much about "Greenman" but when he puts Al Gore and "the worlds leading climatologists" in the same sentence, I know he is one of the brainwashed and I personally have enough of those around me already.

Re: Alan Carlin - EPA update.
Greenman is Peter Sinclair who is a graphics artist who happens to be an Al Gore follower who has no problem with disregarding copyright laws as he uses unpublished and copyrighted material without permission. He stepped on a few toes and the owners of those toes are not happy so we can expect to see some legal action or it will just go away quietly.
I should include that the leading climatologists that he was referring to deserve to be in the same camp as Al. Some were his science advisers! |
