Analysis: It’s not just droughts, but nearly all extreme weather is declining or at or near record lows

Marc Morano,

April 27, 2017

EXCERPT:

Climate Depot Special Report

The federal government has just released yet another key piece of scientific data that counters the man-made global warming narrative. The federal U.S. Drought Monitor report shows that droughts in the U.S. are at record lows in 2017. See:

Feds: U.S. drought reaches record low in 2017 as rain reigns – Sees lowest levels of drought ever monitored

“Drought in the U.S. fell to a record low this week, with just 6.1% of the lower 48 states currently experiencing such dry conditions, federal officials announced Thursday. That’s the lowest percentage in the 17-year history of the weekly U.S. Drought Monitor report,” USA Today reported on April 27. (Ironically, climate activists had declared California to be in a permanent drought: Flashback 2016: Warmist wrong claim: ‘Thanks El Niño, But California’s Drought Is Probably Forever’)

Lot more in the link showing drop in many weather event dates, fewer hurricanes,Tornadoes,Floods and so on.

Oh, dear.

Quote:Analysis: It’s not just droughts, but nearly all extreme weather is declining or at or near record lows

My limited layman studies tell me that declining extreme weather events coincide with a warming world.
Solar cycles 17 to 23 are the highest recorded apart from SC20 which triggered the "ice age" panic in the late 1970's.
The current SC24 shows lower solar activity than SC20 but is not quite over yet. It takes a while for the globe to
lose energy to space, especially with the current global cloud conditions, also a solar effect.
Solar data indicates the current cycle is almost as low as SC5 which triggered a minor ice age.
The predictions for SC25 are that solar activity will be even lower than the current solar cycle.
This will have a severe effect on global food supply which is already suffering.

All this points to the fact that extreme weather events WILL become more common but will be used
as the reason to claim "climate change", aka global warming, is getting worse.

You forget that the IPCC,warmist cultists and Environmentalists have been preaching doom and gloom over INCREASING extreme weather events, based on a warming world.

Instead we have an increasing trend of COLD weather events, greatly increased cold and snowy outbreaks. Hurricane numbers declining due to cooler waters and increased unstable wind shear, indicative of a cooling world coming on.

The 2001 IPCC report says we get less snow and more rain/freezing rain.

Instead we have been getting more snow and less rain,a LOT more snow in some years since then. It has been getting colder too, in the winter time.

The 2001 IPCC report say it should be warming around .30C per decade rate.

Instead we have been getting LESS than half that rate of about .12C per decade since 1979 and about .05C per decade rate since 2001.

The IPCC has been wrong too many times, which indicate that the AGW conjecture they base it on is a failure. The watermelon warmists and Ecoloonies are ignoring the OBVIOUS prediction failures, because they are stuck in a warmist cult dreamlike state.

The focus should be on continuing to expose the obvious IPCC failures, which is where their warmist delusions are based on. There is ZERO evidence that we are in trouble with a weak warming trend, that started around 325 years ago, that is about to run its course. If past warming/cooling cycles of the last few thousand years continues, then we will see a cooling trend coming on.

The growing list of science papers on the Solar influence in recent years show that DECREASING solar radiation, deepens cooling trends a few years later. Here is a link to 20 new papers:

20 More New Papers Link Climate, Weather, Clouds, ENSO, NAO, Sea Levels, Crop Yields…To Solar Activity

"Earlier this month, the first installment in the accumulating list of hundreds of new peer-reviewed scientific papers supporting a skeptical position on climate change alarm was made available.

Included on the list were 38 papers linking climate changes to solar forcing: 38 Sun-Climate Scientific Papers, January-March 2017

Just in the last few weeks alone, another 20 scientific papers were identified which link solar variations to climate changes, which means 58 papers have already been published in 2017."

It is just a matter of time now for the cooling to show up.
It is our attitude toward free thought and free expression that will determine our fate. There must be no limit on the range of temperate discussion, no limits on thought. No subject must be taboo. No censor must preside at our assemblies.

Along with all of that here is an interesting comment from Jonova's blog...
