MIT panel discussion
Recent panel discussion at MIT on Climategate and its effects on science and public perception. http://mitworld.mit.edu/video/730

Richard Lindzen is there so you can count on some things you agree with. Amazing how much politics is in the room really. Still the attempt by at least one to downplay what was said in the emails because "anyone would look bad if you read their private emails". (Even if that's true, "two wrongs don't make a right".)

RE: MIT panel discussion
Great discussion. I enjoyed it thank you. I guess what impressed me the most is Dr. Lindzen's defense of "the public." And, his observations on the hockey stick. I never knew the blade was not part of the proxy study. It was real temperature measurements. I guess the proxy study was not cooperating for the last 150 years.

Potato chip enthusiast.

That's one of those places where they admit how dishonest they are.

Complete faith in proxies as long as the proxies say what they want them to say. ...But the moment the proxies don't cooperate, out they go! "Those aren't accurate at all!"
