There is fundamental uncertainty in climate change, science tsar says
Quote:The impact of global warming has been exaggerated by some scientists and there is an urgent need for more honest disclosure of the uncertainty of predictions about the rate of climate change, according to the Government’s chief scientific adviser. Whoa! Are people actually waking up? I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant! |

RE: "There is fundamental uncertainty in climate change...
Quote:Professor Beddington said that climate scientists should be less hostile to sceptics who questioned man-made global warming. He condemned scientists who refused to publish the data underpinning their reports. Skeptics have been right on many issues, and thus hated for it by AGW loving scientists who have lost themselves in the process. However Dr. Beddington himself is still stuck on the AGW hypothesis by this statement: Quote:“It’s unchallengeable that CO2 traps heat and warms the Earth and that burning fossil fuels shoves billions of tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere. But where you can get challenges is on the speed of change. When will they ever wise up? It is our attitude toward free thought and free expression that will determine our fate. There must be no limit on the range of temperate discussion, no limits on thought. No subject must be taboo. No censor must preside at our assemblies. –William O. Douglas, U.S. Supreme Court Justice, 1952 |
